Cool Wutsup all. I've been trying to find other ways to make and meet Koreans around here. I was told doing language exchanges might be beneficial. If anyone could give me a heads-up or previous experiences, that'd be great! I think learning the language up front with a Korean native would probably accelerate my Korean language skill.

1) How did you advertise for them?
2) Have they worked out well? (time, place to meet, etc.)
3) Do you actually learn Korean culture/language?
4) Recommend anything else?

Again, 정말고맙습니다! Very Happy

Try looking in the Korea Herald. They used to run a list of ads for language exchanges. I think it was on Wednesdays.

Honestly, I'd hope not. But let's say for arguement's sake that someone didn't like ya. They tell Immi that you're teaching every Sat at Starbutts. Immi comes in and finds you with some books and a story about language exchange.

I don't want to guess what would happen next.
