I have been told that if you have teaching experience you can get a decent base salary working in public schools. I don't mind rural schools if there is reasonable access to Seoul. How about public schools in Seoul or Ilsan or some other urban area near Seoul? Do they take care of accomodation? Do the majority pay overtime? What is the general pay for experienced teachers who are certified? I wouldn't mind working for a public school in Feb.2008. Are public schools pretty much good to work for? I hear they are indeed.

As much as I complain I really like working in the public school system. Actually, I love my job.
