Dudes?Dudettes:
What's the verdict about the U.S. team, eh? Looks like they are just as good as you guys, eh?
Pour on the compliments and insults about the Americans, eh, because a guy just has to know if the Yanks should be playing the Russkies instead of our dear, dear neighbor, eh.
Congrats, Canada, and beat those Russian mafioso!
Go Canada!!!
I am,

Yeah, the US has come a long way in the last decade or so. I wonder where the Asian teams (Japan, China, Korea) will be in 10 years... |

U.S played well.
Japan will be coming up fast in the next decade, Korea's programs and development are still many years behind them, but the teams seem to be improving fast. China has a long long long long way to go. |

No Doubt Roch, the Americans have a solid team. I'm Canadian but I knew that the semi would be a lot tougher than most people thought.
SHOULD the Americans be playing the Russians? No, that was decided in the game (and I hate the shoot-out format to determine the winner of a game). COULD the Americans be playing in the finals? Well, they got a nice break on their goal (off Staal's foot), and almost won it (off the side of the post), but the Canadians held the fort in O.T. on the penalty kill and took care of business in the shootout. No insults from this Canadian, as it could just have easily been the Yanks in the gold medal game.
Looking at some of your posts, it seems like you're a BlackHawks fan, so you must be pretty stoked about getting Toews in the next year or so. |

You don't know much about Canada, do ya?
We're quite glad that US is getting better at hockey. They learn the game from us, they play our style .... it's great to see.
We want them to improve. We want the US to be into hockey more. We want a strong rivalry with you guys. We want hockey on NBC and ESPN, not some crappy camping channel. It's our game, we're undoubtedly the best, we want to see it grow. |

There is an expat team in Incheon called the Incheon Iceholes. Google them and go to their website. There are also teams in Seoul. |

EXPENSIVE! EXPENSIVE! EXPENSIVE! Bring it from home or get it sent over. I got mine sent over from home. Everything except skates, helmet and sticks. It cost $120 and took 7 business days. |
