|
|
I'm able to watch Youtube vids on my computer with no problem, until I enlarge them to fill my entire screen. All I get then is a black screen, though the sound still works. I've never been prompted to download anything, and my PC at work doesn't have this problem, just my home lappie. Is there a program I need to download or something eventhough the videos run fine in the smaller format? |

Nope. Definitely don't need to download anything. Sounds like a problem with Flash to me, but that's just a wild guess. Clear your browser cache and re-download Flash.
If that doesn't work maybe someone smarter can help you. |

PM me an e-mail and I will send you a small program that will allow you to download videos from youtube and save them as .mpg files. You can play them with just about anything and save them for the times you don't have internet access. |

The two things I said to try are as follows:
1. Clear your browser cache. In firefox it's tools -> options -> privacy -> clear now button. Check only "cache" and click "clear private data now."
2. Reinstall flash. Go to control panel -> add/remove programs. Remove anything that says adobe flash. Go back to youtube. Install flash when it suggests it.
Note: 1 is easier, try that first. If neither of those work it might be a video problem. Reinstall video card drivers. |
