English does not become the dominant language!
It would be fitting retribution to the money-grabbing people all learning a language purely for Economic gain. What ever happened to learning languages because you want to learn them. Plenty of waygooks learn Korean and I'm sure allot of Koreans have a good laugh at that as Korean is of relatively minisule Economic importance right now in the long run.

You can be damn sure there aren't allot of koreans heading off to France or Germany or Italy because they won't lower themselves to learn something that is not Economically beneficial to them. And WHEN have you met a Korean learning another language aside from English after schooling? Ok, you know 1? out of what 100,000?

Sure, they are made to learn Chinese characters or even Japanese when they're young, but again all this is just Economics too.
It's all about learning English -> go to the US or Canada - one dimensional jump on the band wagon.

And then they complain because it's so competitive - tough S.HIT

If you bothered to open your mind just a little bit you could do better.
It comforts me that Koreans are living good lives in non-English speaking countries right now as we speak because they have found a NICHE. They are thinking outside the box.
For many of the rest of Korean people all grappling with each other over their English proficiency - you desserve it exactly what you get: almost insurmountable competition! - Enjoy flipping burgers because your neighbors TOIEC score was 0.05 % better than yours!

Oh and I also want to have another stab at many of you gyopos:

Many of you are very quick to sneeze on the opportunities provided to you in English speaking countries while you deffend everything about Korea. You would be nothing to Korean people but just another Kim to be walked on if it was not for the fact that you are a walking green card who can speak English and you're ethnically Korean. My question to you Gyopos of this ilk is: 'Do you really desserve to be a citizen of Canada or the U.S (and remember: you ARE just another Kim if you're not..in your fellow Koreans eyes!)

Also, many Gyopos are decendents of people who had nothing at the time of the Korean war's ending etc. or were even direct asylum seekers.
You reallly would be LESS* (in many Korean's eyees) than just another Kim without the help you got.

*Go and ask Real Reality how Korea looks after such people generally.

And for all you nice friendly Gyopos that appreiciate your 'home' English speaking country. Respect and Rock on!

It's pretty ironic that morons like you can so easily end up working in language education.

Oh well.

Wow. You can spell "language" and "education". You must be an educator, right?

PATHETIC!!!

You're just peeved because you came to Korea straight after completing your diploma in philosophical studies at upstairs local college.
You sir ARE "the moron". Another gyopo retard who desserves to be expelled?
What are your mystifying credentials???
Are you petrified that there may some day be a shortage of ESL jobs and you'llbe back to beg for re-citizenship??

I think 'moron' is a pretty accurate description of the OP. 'Loser' also comes to mind.

Well, yes I do. It's my guess that he was in line at the bank or grocery store yesterday and some ajumma cut in front of him. Whether it was exactly that or not isn't important because I'm sure it was some equally minor incident that qualifies as an 'outrage' in his peabrain.

You're right. I saw absolutely no humor in your post. None. So we can add 'lacks a sense of humor' to moron and loser.

WTF? Why don't you read any of my past posts concerning Aly..'her who's name shall not be mentioned', if you think that. Sorry that would require the ability to think.

I love Korea generally so don't attack me for being some k-basher - I'm not at all. I'm tired of sitting on the fence here and ACCEPTING everything becasue it's their country/culture etc. and not mine but lately, I feel like I'd like to criticise some of the stupid things going on here..

Ok, no I been out of the loop for a month or so, my apologies! Carry on sir!

Edit: Maybe you could take a few weeks off from Korea, I'm sure it gets to everyone after awhile...sit on a beach somewhere under the warm glow of the sun, drink a few margaritas, relax a bit...ya know?
