If you have stuff you might want to donate, the charity "Beautiful Store" has a free pick-up service. They re-sell just about anything, including books, clothes, household items,...
Their website is: http://www.bstore.org/english/index.asp
Their email address is: [email protected] |

The store looks really amazing, and even the website is beautiful.
Thanks for sharing the link, it's very helpful. |

Their stores are promising, but kind of disappointing for thrist-store aficionados back home.
A good source for Korean kids' books for one's own Korean language study, and middling English books published in Korea. Some clothes, but you have to look HARD. |

if you're looking for genuine thrift shops, try temples and churches. i know that Bong Eun Temple (near coex) has a thrift shop ... quite cheap too. lots of clothes and books and 80s CDs.
it's also a good place to donate used stuff. |
