If you have stuff you might want to donate, the charity "Beautiful Store" has a free pick-up service. They re-sell just about anything, including books, clothes, household items,...

Their website is: http://www.bstore.org/english/index.asp

Their email address is: [email protected]

The store looks really amazing, and even the website is beautiful.

Thanks for sharing the link, it's very helpful.

Their stores are promising, but kind of disappointing for thrist-store aficionados back home.

A good source for Korean kids' books for one's own Korean language study, and middling English books published in Korea. Some clothes, but you have to look HARD.

if you're looking for genuine thrift shops, try temples and churches. i know that Bong Eun Temple (near coex) has a thrift shop ... quite cheap too. lots of clothes and books and 80s CDs. Very Happy

it's also a good place to donate used stuff.
