I'm thinking of doing the game in class to cap off the numbers review and money lessons.

I wish I had a board game version, but oh well, I could improvise and do what's doable: The initial price game to get on stage (what's the name of that?) then as a feature game: The Clock Game, Dice Game, Five Price Tags, maybe even Barker's Bargain Bar. Then instead of a wheel to spin, a dartboard to hit. Then the final Showcase Showdown (with pencils, chocolates and small stuff that students can actually win if they come closest to the actual price without going over).

Anybody else ever done TPIR?

I've done it a million times and it is a real fun way to review / practice prices and numbers. You can do it without the powerpoint I've made but I'd say the kids like the powerpoint better. Just tell them that all products are from E-Mart and you want the price from this week's flyer.

Bonus questions for the team that guesses closest (but not over) the correct price.

You can download and edit it as you wish. Insert the music into the same folder so it plays. Also the jeopardy song.

If not using the powerpoint, I use a whiteboard with photos or the actual items. On the whiteboard are the prices written large for each item. Turn them over after the guessing.

VI, what are the The Clock Game, Dice Game, Five Price Tags, and Barker's Bargain Bar games? They sound like great games for my camp students.

I haven't watched TPiR since I had the chicken pox when I was 10!

I don't need the actual game, just an idea of how to play the games like The Clock Game, etc.

I think this thread is worth a bump if only to allow more teachers to check out all the resources listed on "ddeubel's" website...

I found it!! A website that has all of the mini-games played on TPiR and how they are played! I'm planning on using e-mart ads for the prices and pick a few of the mini-games in my camp classes.

That price is right game webpage --- wow, what a score. "Time is Money," "superball," ... it's got everything.

I need a "Plinko" activity in class!

I just posted a simple yet neat price is right powerpoint on my website. Click powerpoint and then download. Based on Hyundai Dept. store prices.

This is a simpler one than my first. But effective, got the template here

http://www.murray.k12.ga.us/teacher/kara%20leonard/Mini%20T%27s/March%20Mini%20T-Games/Games.htm

Lots of sounds for all the gameshows here as well as some game templates. Worth checking out.
