Hey, I'm close to making the choice to come to Korea for a second round. Since my last time, I've certified to teach Sivananda Yoga. What are the chances of opening a class there?
Just curious. |

I would be interested in a class at least once a week schedule permitting. That is if you are somewhere close to me. I live in Sanbon/Gunpo area. I also think that a few (at least 2) of my co-workers would be inerested. Also I am unfamiliar with the syle you are talking about. I have been doing hatha yoga off and on for a while now is it anything like that? |

Well, I'm not sure if it'll happen yet. I've got to think through the variables. But I think I'd like to go to someplace like Pusan, where there will be a variety of people.
Any suggestions?
As for the style, it is classical, with a lineage reaching back to Shankar, the founder of the Vedanta monistic philosophy. Sivananda yoga retains the spirtiual aspirations of yoga, so it is a complete system for moving in the direction of samadhi.
You can find it on the internet. They have ashrams around the world. |

I think people would be interested. If you move to Busan, let me know! Just watch out for immi. You would be violating your visa status. |

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind.
But I also consider just finding a place where I can just teach as a volunteer. Mostly, it'd be a chance to connect some like-minded people.
But, if I could use it as a way to teach English, there may be a way to do it legally. |

Even as a volunteer, you are violating your visa status. Check out all the stuff on the "Busan 9" lately. The cops/immi are now saying even volunteering is not legal. Oh, Korea... |

Even if I just guided English teachers through a series? All I'd need is a space. . . and a few wagooks. |
