Hi,
I'm leaving Korea soon but before returning to the UK will go travelling for about 7/8 months. How does one go about shipping stuff back to England from Korea?
Is it as simple as going to the post office? Do they charge by weight or by bulk? Most importantly; is it an expensive process? Does anyone have any examples they could share?
I'll mainly be sending back clothes, CDs, and some books. Would it be cheaper to just dump it all then start again in England (seems a waste and a shame)?
Any advice?
Cheers. |

NR,
Good question in terms of dumping stuff. I'll be making the same type of decision in a few months (probably June) about what to ship back home as well.
It's a personal preference, but I'm set a limit on three boxes for my wife and I. Granted she's going to have more to ship over then I do, but she can lug some stuff on the plane as well.
By the time I leave it will have been three and a half years here. I've accumulated a lot of crap in that time. |
