This has been the single most frustrating thing Ive ever had to deal with in my life. How the hell do you do this? I thought it would be a simple letter of release like you would do for any other visa, but its apparently not. Ive called three different immigration offices, two embassies and three consualtes abroad to try to cancel this stupid visa, and nobody seems to know how to do it. Any idea? Can I just burn the fucking thing in a bonfire of useless immigration officers? Would that do the trick?? |

My C-3 was automatically cancelled when I got an E-2.... Perhaps the C-4 works the same way.... Your best bet is to attempt to process a new visa of a different type and see what they say you must do.... |

I think all you need to do is organise a new visa and it will be cancelled when you leave on your run.
I had a few weeks left on my old C-4 visa. Immigration told me there was nothing that needed to be done in Korea, and it was up to the issuing consulate. I called the Fukuoka consualte - was told there was no problem getting a new visa - and when I went through departing Immigration in Busan all they did was scribble "USED" over the old one, stamp it, and that was it. |
