i've got a Samsung SVD596HD dvd player and the damn thing's not universal! anybody have a crack code? i've been searching online, but can't find what i'm looking for.

| You could look for hacks to similar sister models. Worked with my Panasonic. If the Samsung is a fairly new model you may just have to wait a while for someone to post a hack. |

success!!!
turn the dvd player on w/ no disc.
with the remote, press 'repeat', then ' 5 6 7 3 2', it will show the number '3' in the upper left hand corner. press '9', then 'open/close'. wait a few seconds, then press 'on/off'. when restarted, it's region-free! |
