I haven't found any info on this school online, wondering if anyone knows anything about it. It's located in Pyeongchon. Does anyone know this area? I don't need the big city life, but I want to make sure there are still things to do.

I can't tell you about the school, but Anyang is a really great place to live. Lots of info about it here.

Well, I don't know about that particular school either, but I'm in Pyeongchon and there's plenty to do. If you're a bar hopper there are two local areas worth checking out, Beomgey and Anyang, that are chock full of cheap bars and food. Plus the drunk locals are a hoot to watch:D Also, there are a few museums nearby, mountains to climb, Seoulland is a quick subway ride away (local amusement park, haven't checked it out yet but apparently it's ok), and if you don't mind travelling between 30 minutes to an hour to get some place in central Seoul (Gangnam, Hongdae, Yongsan, Itaewon, Myong Dong, etc) then there's even more to do. Keep in mind however that the trains shut down at 12am so go out at night with a group that's a multiple of 4 so as to maximize taxi fare efficiency;D

As for the school, I'll see if I can poke around and dig up some info on it. When do you need to know by?

Thanks for the help, I've heard good things about Anyang but I wasn't sure about that specific area.

I'm supposed to have a phone interview tonight, and I guess an answer in the next couple days. I've already seen the contrat but technically haven't been offered the position yet. The contract has a few things I want to change, but overall I think it's okay. I got one reply from a current teacher but she hasn't answered my follow-up e-mail. Thanks for any info you can find!
