Hi, I need to get to Incheon Immigration. What is the easiest way, by subway, bus then taxi. I'm staying with a friend in Jamshil...Anyone know?

One way is to write, advertise and perform a one-person play in a public performance hall. Do NOT get your performance approved by the proper authorities.

Make sure you charge admission and sell alcohol without a license.

You can then take advantage of Korean Immigration's personal pick-up service. They'll pick you up right at your front door and take you to the immigration office. For free.

I'm not sure how you would (er...if) you would get back home though...

Or...if you don't want a smartass answer, the subway might be best. The bus might be okay, but the taxi fair is a bit of a gamble because of traffic in Seoul.

Great comedy! Are you a fan of Eddie Murphy? No, but seriously does anyone know how to get out there, it is kind of urgent. I need to get out there on Monday.

I live in Ansan, and when I went to immigration I took the bus from Ansan bus terminal to Incheon bus terminal. Your best bet, from Jamshil, is to take the subway to Incheon station, then take a taxi.

Yep, if you don't know DongIncheon is the second last (penultimate) stop before Incheon station (in other words the far west side of Incheon city right by the sea). You need to get onto line 1 which runs from Uijeongbu bukbu through to Incheon. Also try to get the rapid train to save time - Dongincheon express. This will skip many stations and save you time. Bring a book, passport photos plenty of money etc. as well as anything else.. The nearest ATM is 10 minutes away at least and there are few around there.

I also advise you chill out once the formality is out of the way. Get another taxi to Wolmido if it's not too late or too cold and get some fresh sea air into your lungs.
