a one-off question about travel insurance maybe...
I grew up in Alberta, Canada and I had AB health. Then I moved to the UK for 2 years and now 1 year in South Korea.... I did not keep paying my AB health as I was covered in the other 2 countries.
Now I will be headed back home for 2 months before going back to the Uk for a few years again....
I looked at the lonley planet nomads online insurance but it says you cannot make any claims for a country in which you are a resident.
I read about going to Soeul Airport and showing my ARC to get insurance from there, but don;t I have to turn it in as I will not be a resident once I leave on my one way flight home? Therefore I will have to put Canada as the country of residence...going in circles here!
And also, I do not want to be shipped back to Korea in case of emergency!
Any ideas on getting something short term in your OWN country?
Cheers!
