Hi everyone:
My passport expires in a year.
Because I'll be switching to another employer in the fall, I would like to get a new passport so that I don't have to go through all the paperwork later on.
Does the Canadian Embassy issue passports even if they still have a year left to expire?
Also, seeing as how I've only got about a year left, would the Korean government issue me a multiple entry visa?
I think just getting a new one that expires in 5 years will be so much easier, because that way I don't have to head over to immigration while I'm working (I have some vacation time left, and I was thinking of taking care of that during my vacation).
Any thoughts, comments, and experiences would be much appreciated. I'm sure this issue has come up on this message board, so if anyone has any links they can send me, I would greatly appreciate it.
Regards,
