i have a great, clean apartment so no complaints about that.
however, i have no blinds or curtains for an entire section, and i'm only on the third floor. not much privacy.
so 2 things: should i expect my boss to pay for rigging up some curtains, or do i take the tab? and there's also no curtain railing...can i hire somebody to do all that? wouldn't wanna experiment my DIY on an apartment thats not mine... |

I know some people who glue aluminium foil to the bottom half of their window. It seems to work. Whatthefunk's probably right. Pick and choose your battles with your boss. This probably isn't worth bothering him with. When you get over here in many cases your bosses will bend over backward to make sure you're comfortable. (It's often a far cry to what you can expect later) So...if you haven't been here too long you could probably just innocently ask him where you can get curtains fitted and he may arrange it all for you. If he doesn't I wouldn't push it though. |

You can get blinds for next to nothing at Emart or any of the equivalent places. |
