I tried the search function just for a laugh of course nothing....anyways, I need some natural vinegar, natural honey, and cod liver oil. This was my mothers remedy for colds when I was younger and it actually would get me better within 24 hours. I'm tired of visiting doctors here, and no vitamin C isn't working.
If you can tell me a health food store and directions from a subway stop, or where else these items can be located, I'd be appreciative. Natural vinegar is the kind where you have to shake up, and is different from cleaning and dressing vinegar. Natural honey is raw (unpasteurized) and is usually darker if that helps.
Thanks. |

Thought I'd bump this as I am also looking for a health store in Daegu.
Actually if anyone knows any type of interesting food store in Daegu. By interesting I mean a store that sells diff stuff from the norm. A good bakery, somewhere with a good spice selection, etc.Anything at all, I like buying food |

JMO- Go to Costco, if you are looking for good foreign foods. Those of us who live in poor, little Busan have to drive 2 hours one way to the Mecca that is Costco! You Daegu folk are lucky to have so much tasty food nearby.
I can't help you on the honey, vinear, and cod oil. Sorry. |

Raw vinegar... Have never seen it here.
Unpasteurized honey.. in almost every department store food section.
For 'health food' check out the organic foods section of Emart.
There is a pakistani grocery store across the street from Buk-Bu Bus Station.
There are also 2 organic food restaurants in Daegu.
1. Organic Buffet:
Kitty-corner to Donga Department store in Jisan Dong.
Taxi: Jisan Dong, Dong-Ah Baek-Hwa-Jum Kha-Ju-Se-Yo
Bus: numbers 814, 402, 400, 400-1, 401, express 3 (pink 3) to Donga department store and look for the red brick Nonghyup Bank building. Go around the back of the Nonghyup and down the basement steps.
2. Organic restaurant.
Near Debec Plaza Department store. Starting from the dept. store, walk west, toward downtown. You will reach a main 3-way intersection controlld by traffic lights. Turn right, and cross the street. Walk past the gas station and take a left down the little driveway . You will see Shilla Art Gallery. The restaurant is to its left... or rather set back behind it from the main street. |
