what are your personal experience on teaching high school?

bad students? rowdy? bad curriculum?

I am asking because i liek to teach adults although positions for these are not as common as high school students. Any help, comments would be most appreciated!!

Lack of curriculum,no assessment,disruptive students,lack of contact time,etc etc....nothing new there.

I'm getting a friend who teaches in HK to send me his school-based assessment and I'll try to get my school to support me in adjusting it/inaugarating something.

Being told "just get them talking" is too vague and piecemeal.

I find I need some outcomes I can aim for.The bulk of them will never use English but if I can get them to be able to handle some situations then I'll be more than happy.
