I mean, it's not like we invented all this bad stuff.
Lots of other countries have pre-emptively attacked someone sometime.
And lots of other countries have tortured people in secret prisons.
Plus, the other countries want us to.
They make us do these things.
Otherwise, who would?
Therefore (take it away, band)
Birds do it
Bees do it
Even the Japanese do it.
Let's do it!
Let's be above the law! |

What are you exactly trying to say. Frankly, I don't think most Americans really play a role in this. Most have no clue what the U.S. government is doing domestically or abroad. There aren't enough people participating though that is changing. Some get very defensive because it is kind of a shock to the system when you see criticism of America (that is tough) when the views of even European friends are kind of muted in the media and not really reported so criticism is not accepted.
People can barely even criticize the president. The discourse is very bad. It reminds me of people in the Middle East who are conditioned to believe that Islam is great as it is, that it is the fastest growing religion, and then they get very defensive when criticized because it is a shock to a system. Many people in America would correctly point out the dirty laundry in the Muslim world, but to look at the contribution coming from the Belt Way is not happening enough. Of course, America is one of the best countries to live in the world and if you live in America and live a decent life you should be grateful but greatness also should allow for criticism. A country that is acting far worse than the U.S. is Russia in my view. However, criticism is stifled of Putin because he is a friend. Putin is bullying so many countries it appears. The media hardly mentions what happens in Russia. Perceptions are simply manipulated. We are just conditioned to accept whatever truths someone wants to feed us in the name of whatever flag your passport is associated with.
Truth is a casualty of false pride. |

You're a cynical antiestablishmentarianalist.
Your ideoliberal perspective is a pathological flaw that makes you blind as a cavefish when it comes to seeing that America is not responsible for whatever it is you were talking about. That's why you'll never learn that what I say is right.
Save your bile and use it as coffee creamer. |
