I am renewing my contract this month. My husband has an F-3 visa. He will need a new ARC since his expires at the end of the month. My school takes my paperwork to renew my visa.

How do I renew his F-3 visa? Do we go to immigration with my new visa? Or can it be done "automatically" by my school when they do mine?

An F-3 is a dependent spouse of a foreign worker (e.g. a non-Korean spouse of someone with an E-2 visa). There aren't many around, but there are some. And there must be at least one of you who has renewed your visa.

your employer can renew for you but remember,it is your spouse who is responsible to renew , not the employer.
