If I were to turn my switch off, would it be possible to use Xbox live?

Is it a matter of: Chip in--- Live impossible?

The most popular thing to do these days is to "flash" the drive. I'm not that tech savy but I went with my friend last week and he bought a new Xbox that was "flashed" (flashing the bios) enabling it to play copy games. We even downloaded two games off the net (that were region free) and they both played. Anyway good luck..................
