I've read that an ESL teacher who was teaching in Thai confessed that he is the only non-drug user among 12 ESL teachers he know, which means the rest 11 are drug users. This is maybe isolated case, but
a couple years ago, 20/20 on ABC in American showed Thai prison, there were easily 50-80 westerners in prison, most of them drug users/drug smugglers.

Thailand is a beautiful country and people is incredible, but about 1 million Thais are infected HIV/AID, it's one of highest among the world.
When your country known as destination for sex tourists, all kind relative problems will occur, underage prostitutes, drug smuggling, violences...etc.
People say Thai is safe, maybe yes, maybe no.
You never see sign of " No guns please " at bars in korea, but you can see these signs in Thai.

A month ago an old American guy who is about 50+ years told me he is going Thai to see his friend who married to a Thai girl and retired in Thai, he said his friend is 57 years old and his Thai wife is mid-30. This guy told
me the Thai wife of his friend is going to introduce him her friend and she is even younger than her.
This guy was loser, most of his life he was depending on his disability pension.

Thailand can bring tourists without known as destination for sex tourists, they have national resource, why the millitary government not try to clean up their nation's image ??

Besides being on the wrong forum, . . . . your point is what exactly?

Did someone from Thailand offend you? Or, is this a continuation of your dissing those who fought for Korea's existence in the Korean War? (Yes, Thailand sent a couple battalions.)

Or, did you wake up just feeling the need to diss another culture / people?

Extremism is a simple world that comforts simple minds.

Unlike South Korea where 1 in 10 women is actively involved in the local sex industry.

What's with the anti-Thai sentiments? Don't you know that the Phillippines is the premier sex-tourist destination? Actually, aren't most of the tourists visiting the Phillippines from ROK....??

Not really, I felt sick when this old guy was thinking to marry young Thai, I am always feel that way when I see OLD WESRTERN MAN with YOUNG ASIAN WOMAN, it doesn't matter she is a Thai, korean, phillippino, Japanese, Vietnamese. However often the girls are from Thais or phillippinoes.
Oh, right now 59 years old American man in my town try to deport his Chinese wife with claiming she married to him for green card, they met through marriage agent in China. This is big news in my town.
F*** man, he really thought 24 years old girl loved him ?????

You are Korean and a bit xenophobic in your heart, eh. If you could wave a magic wand and make all foreigners disappear from Korea you would, wouldn't you?

Yeah, why don't you worry about cleaning up your own backyard before you start sh1tting on someone else's. Korea is just as bad, only it's in-country sex tourism limited to Koreans, although there are exceptions. Besides, you don't think older Korean boys (dare I call them men?) are one of the main groups flocking over there to have unprotected sex?

Pay no attention to Mss. Seoul..............she used to write the same, boring posts on the Korea Herald website.

Miss. Seoul............I wonder what you would say if you knew how many koreans participate in the erotic games down in Thailand? I wonder what you would say if you knew that the foreign tourist industry makes up a small portion of Thailands sex industry...........most of it if for Thai men.

Miss Seoul, what do you have to say about Koreas sex industry?

Say what you want about Thailand, but there many reasons why people like to go there........instead of Korea.

1. Nice, friendly people
2. GREAT food
3. Diversity
4. Some of the best beaches in the world (CHEJU?! LOL!!!!)

See, people WANT to go there..........unlike Korea. Tell me, why is that?

Cheers.

Didn't you marry an OLD WESTERN MAN, who promptly died?

Is that the kind of sick you felt?
