There is one near the Jukjeon E-Mart. That is really Suji but very close to Bundang. Take the subway to the last stop, Bojeong, cross the street, turn left and walk towards the E-Mart. Just before the E-Mart is a small park--you will see a bright red bridge/sculpture thingy and there's a skate park there. (They are making a subway stop at Jukjeon but I don't think it's finished yet so Bojeong seems closest. Not all the trains go that far, some only go to Ori, so make sure your train says Bojeong). |

Seoul has many great places to skate. It's been one of my favorite cities i've skated thus far.
Some great spots are:
World Cup Stadium Park
Dongdaemun Stadium (in a small park near the subway)
There's a great park under the bridge at ttukseom Resort station (line 7)
Another great park at Dobong station (line 1)
And another great park in Incheon at Munhak Sports Complex (incheon Line)
Also various Great spots aroung Mok-dong Stadium
There is also a decent park around Yeouinaru station (although I have been told that this park is only for inline, but if you go in the evening there are never any hassles)
The skateshop Corona in Hongdae has an indoor halfpipe, but it is probably the hardest pipe i have ever ridden.
The best part is about this city is you can go street skating anywhere, and never get kicked out of a spot. I've even had building security come out and watch, cheering us on.
Check out this site for good information on skateboarding in seoul. They even have pictures of spots:

P.S. PM me if you're interested in hitting up some spots together. I'm always interested in finding new people to skate with. |

What's up?
Dongdaemun Stadium (Cult spot) is definitely the hotspot in Seoul.
Yongson Stn (backside next to e-mart) is tons of fun
Yoido is a blast to skate around at night. There's not too much at the actual park...but the whole area is downtown dream session at night.
I've heard lots about Samsung plaza in Bundang but I've never been there.
Most parks in Korea are utter shite. They're more suited to rollerbladers and they're are composite parks consisting of plastic movable ramps. The best one in Seoul is arguably near Balsam Stn. Only because it has a very well built spined 3 or 4 foot mini ramp.
Outside of Seoul--
Sungyungwan University in North Suwon has the best rain spot--under a bridge with nice ledges.
Yoggisan park at Hwaseo station is pretty decent but the ramp surface is a little slick.
Manseok Park in Suwon is the most popular park in Suwon and it's fun for a day.
Suwon Youth Center (Suwon chung-so-nyun moon-hwa centuh) is the most popular street spot in Suwon and is my second favorite spot next to Cult. It has a huge huge area to roll and is really smooth. Lots of high ledges everywhere and the locals keep manual pads, boxes, rails, and jump ramps there.
Anyone ever wants to hook up for a skate give me a pm. |

oh yeah....
here's my never updated site
http://weskatekorea.blogspot.com/
I have lots of pics to put up there....so I might do an update soon...
also check out

Shops:
WooHoo Chung San--Underneath the Dongdaemun Stadium skate spot. Get off at dongdaemun stadium stn...can't remember what exit...but you have to walk through an old generally empty shopping mall area to get there. They carry lots of good gear such as Real, Ipath, Vox, BluePrint, 5boro, Thunder, Spitfire, Antihero, Cliche, Creation and so on.
Tussa--Near the end of the main street in Itaewon, on the left hand side, go upstairs. They're nice people but their gear is more mainstream. Girl, Chocolate, Flip, Element, Baker, Lakai, Circa etc.
Corona--as previously mentioned, in Hongdae. They carry some good gear and have some crap mixed in. They consider themself a more hardcore shop...I dunno...like a wannabe skull skates or something. The mini ramp is old school and has no flat bottom. It's near skunk hell. Go to the gate of Hongik University, face it, and walk right for a few blocks.
Local brands:
Wyfluence boards--flat and small decks.
StuntB--pretty decent decks that you can buy at Tussa and Corona. Owned by a local hero skater named Beck. He's a really nice guy and a definite ripper. He's spent some time in Vancouver for skateboard "practice" and I saw him around at the RDS park a few times.
Alchemy--the newest deck company. I don't know anything about them but they have a couple cool graphcis.
ARK Skateboarding--Local shoe company out of Daejeon/Suwon. The shoes are decent and cheap. The owner is a university student/skater who lives in Suwon. He told me that he started the company because Korean skaters couldn't afford to buy the expensive imported shoes. So his company is the ark for Korean skateboarding...like noah's ark. He's also started getting boards pressed by Premium Wood.

Soulash clothing--A pretty cool clothing company out of Busan.
cheers. |
