Do anyone have any idea what percentage of people that get an SMOE interview actually get an SMOE offer? I just had my interview with them, and it wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either.
Suffice it to say I thought I was home free, and now I'm more than a little unsure. |

I was unsure about my interview too, but I got the job. I am not sure about your answer, but if it helps to say I was feeling the same way, but got the job, maybe it will help ease your tensions a bit? Sorry I can't be more help. |

Yeah not sure on the percentage heh. But, they seem quite prompt to let you know if you've been accepted. I had a phone interview and got received in email later that week. So, I suppose you won't be kept in the dark for long about it =) |

They were middle school positions. She basically just said that she was concerned that I have no formal ESL teaching experience (which I don't understand, because my application made that very clear and she still requested an interview). So anyway I did my best to explain my informal and non-ESL experience.
