Yes i am a Big girl in Korea, and g-damn it i am proud to be who i am because i PAID off my student loan teaching little kids who were cute most days but some days drove me nuts when they sneezed in my face!
Anyways, I've lived here back and forth for a long time and just now they'
re finally getting some decent plus sized clothes here. If you're a big girl: 14-24, looking for some decent clothes that aren't making ya look like some weird pre-slimmed Missy Elliot hip hop girl, then check out OKBT,
The owner's name is Joo and she speaks English
[email protected]
she's on myspace too,
her place is just down from Hamilton Hotel, New World Plaza, that shoe store that has all the shoes out front, go inside and then right, up the stairs. She's got lots of brands from US and Canada, and decent prices. I just got back from the visiting Seattle/Vancouver, and Target/The Bay/Sears,etc., and she's got cheaper stuff!!!
wishing you tons of fun and travels, girls:)

Please. I spent almost 10 years in Korea getting over my fat fetish.
My therapist advises me not to read your posts again. |

| i just bought up stuff at home and carted it over here, which sucked many a time if something got wrecked, as the washing machines are pretty hard on the clothes. There is cheap drycleaning, but i like wash and wear clothes, |

So is it like Avenue/LaneBryant stuff? or just larger sized "ghetto-fabulus" like some of the men's big&tall stuff?
I did the same of bringing most of it with me and having the rest mailed but I'd like to periodically infuse my wardrobe without relying on friends and family to either get specific items or send what they think will work/look good. Also, I don't know if the other larger ladies went through the same thing but within about 2-3 months I dropped almost a size and a half in clothing so things started to get baggy. Having a store that actually sells decent stuff in the appropriate sizes would be wonderful. |

she's got stuff from US stores, and a lot from canada that sells in the Bay which is like macy's,
sometimes in canada the bay can have good sales on quality bigger sizes. when you first walk in, it doesn't look like much, but just ask joo, and she'll start pulling all this stuff out from crannies. Bring in some pics if you don't see what you want and she'll try and have it the next week, |
