|
|
I went to Ko Samui over Christmas and flew with Thai Airways and had a transfer in Bangkok. The total price I paid for the ticket was 880 000Won. I just found out last week that my school is giving us the last week of February off(not Lunar New Year but the week after) and want to go back for the week. I emailed Xanadu for an estimate and the price they quoted me was 820 000+tax!!! This is more than when I flew during Christmas. I thought it would be cheaper because it's not peak season anymore(high season yes but not peak). Why is this? Any insights?
I'm flying almost the exact same flights as Christmas. Leave on Saturday morning and come come at 6:30am the next Sunday. |

Korea is a Hotel California, you can come in cheap and easy, but checking out or leaving is next to impossible or it will cost you an arm and a leg and a few fingers. |

I'm heading to phuket and my flight is a direct flight which cost me around 750.000 with tax.......try flying to bangkok and then catching a local flight to samui....thai air to bangkok will cost you around 560.000 and you can get to samui with 100 dollars......that's what I would do.....
try going to korean air website and finding deals there, I bought my ticket from xanadu and yesterday found out that the same ticket on korean air site is 300.000 cheaper...that includes my wife and son.....xanadu ripped me off for 300.000...that retards....I ain buying crap from them anymore.... |

| Does the 560 000 to Bangkok include tax? I've gotten two other quotes that would take me to Bangkok(direct) for 590 000+tax which works out to just over 700 000. There are no cheap tickets to Ko Samui unfortunately. All of Bangkok Air's tickets are quite pricey(they're the only airline that fly into Ko Samui). Thanks for the info regarding Xanadu. Now I'll have to do a bit more searching on my own but it's worth it if I can get a reasonable price. I might just head to Phuket if I can get there for around 650 000(is that how much you saw it for on the Korean Air sight?) |
