|
|
Where can I go to buy english computer games.
Specifically, I am looking for a copy of world of warcraft: the burning crusade. Getting it shipped from North America does not seem to be a reasonable possiblity.
I am sure there are places to buy an english copy at Yongsan, but all the places I`ve visted sell pirated copies. I can`t use a pirated version since I need an authentic CD to play.
Any help would be appreciated. |

| I tried to order some from Amazon.com and found out Amazon wouldn't sell to me in Korea for whatever reasons. Well, I tried. So I just went and downloaded the game via bit torrent. I dunno, man. |

I got mine sent from America to here, was rolling in Outland by the 19th. I had to order mine from gamestop / ebworld. Shipping killed me though, in total the game cost me $70.
And yeah, Amazon wouldnt ship it to me here. Was sad wanted to get that and some books sent heh. |

| torrents... you've gotta figure out how to run them though. because i wouldn't use torrents as that's illegal. but i hear it's a pretty easy thing to do. |

I cannot order from EBgames or gamestop since I don`t have a Korean credit card. Barnes and Noble don`t ship here. And I just spent 2 hours looking at Ebay. Ebay sucks .
I`ve spoken to someone at Johnie computer in Itaewon. He told me he couldn`t even guess where to go find an English computer game here.
If any military people could buy two copies for me on the base here I`d pay 65,000 per copy. Same goes for anyone else who can find a copy. |

You might try Amazon UK. They'll ship to Korea and the shipping isn't too outrageous.
Another option: Have someone in your home country buy it and ship it to you. Probably the cheapest way. |

Superb site that is super cheap for really quick downloads.
A game would cost you around 500 won. |

| With a game like the BUrning crusade, you're only really buying the Activation code.. So get your parents back home (or some friend back home) to buy it for you, and email you the activiation code. Then download the client file here. You PAID for the code so you're not stealing anything. The downloaded client is 100% useless without the activiation code. |

There used to be a hi-tech building selling all types of electronic gear including games on the 8th/9th floor? It was located about five minutes from East seoul Bus terminal.
Do a really old search from 3 years ago and you might find the topic on here as I saw directions on it here. This is from memory so sorry I can't be more specific than that.
I went there a couple of times, though it is so long ago that I can't be more specific. Ask around in the Korean shops. |

I can sell you mine - if you want it...
I got i"World of Warcraft" new - and I have never used it once (not even installed it once)
I have many many games - that I have used- but don't want anymore such as "FIFA 2006, 2004", etc "Need for speed-Most wanted" "Battlefield 2" and expansion kit, "Battlefield Vietnam", "Half-Life" and expansion kit, Lord of the Rings, King Kong etc etc - all with cases, instructions everything - almost new....
actually many of mine - the cases and instructions are in Korean or both Korean/English - however - when installing it - I just choose the option to install in English....
Any games you want to buy - ask me and I am willing to sell.... |
