Here in Korea, white people complain about being treated like a white monkey.
But I bet I'm the only one who was ACTUALLY sent to be examined by a VETERINARIAN!
OK it's not as bad as it sounds. I work on a military base, and generally the teachers use the medical facility here for minor illnesses. I went in today and the doctor didn't speak any english, so he sent me down the hall to the base vet to be examined. Both doctors were really polite, and the irony of the situation didn't hit me til after I'd left. |
