Hooters, grand opening, January 18th, Ap-gu-jong in Seoul.
It's no Club Supersexe mind you, but what the hell ...it's a positive sign nevertheless... |

O.K.........Sorry to sound crude, but where the heck are they going to find girls in this country that "measure up" to the regular hooters girls back home? Believe me, I'm not knockin K-Girls. I think they're beautiful, but they're not excactly well-endowed. |

On Jeju Island....while visiting.........near Seogwipo....a shopping center was built with Hooters colors....it has a few additional shops, a Cinnabon and a few restaurants. The sign reads...."Hooters" coming soon. That was 5-6 years ago. The sign is still up on my last visit a few months back...2006.
I sent off an e-mail to the home office of Hooters and inquired about the opening....it's only been 6 years I added....the reply......delay due to construction...(mind you...it's been built) and...........staffing difficulities....whatever that means.
I suppose..... no one...... to fit the build!? |

| There are some Korean girls who are well-endowed. Anyway, you don't have to be so well endowed to have nice breasts. But, I have seen some who definitely are built like Western girls at least in that area. |

does anyone else get the feeling, that because Hooters is foreign, there will be riots in the streets about the indecency? how terrible they make a restaurant to show off the gifts of beautiful girls...
we all know how hypocritical Koreans are about this kind of stuff.
any thoughts? |

Yeah it's possible..
It's been pointed out here before that the majority of foreign restaurant patrons are groups of women, not men. I just cannot imagine a group of ajeoshis going out for lunch to Hooters for a hamburger and chili fries. And you can forget about groups of women or families..
Hooters should've included Dave's ESL Cafe research when doing their market analysis for Korea! |
