I have worked at the Bupyeong Pagoda for a year now. Come here if you want to avoid the usual Pagoda rules, it's a franchise so they don't enforce some of the usual Pagoda analness.
However, as written most of your Pagoda evaluation is based directly on your resign rate. That's the students from this months class who sign up again at Pagoda next month, NOT students who will sign up again 'in a month or two'...and because you have little say over who goes where if your students really really like you they might not sign up with a stranger, thus negatively impacting you.
About 20% of the review is the managers opinion, based on how much he likes you, your physical appearance, lateness, abscences, etc.
Come to Incheon Pagoda! It's like the normal Pagoda but more relaxed.
While the review percentage IS written in the contract, it is rarely enforced to fire you unless you're unpopular. What WILL bite you in the ass at any Pagoda is that the review rating directly impacts your pay raises, so when eveyone else is getting 1000W extra per hour or whatever you could be getting half that or nothing, and that is enforced |
