Hello!
I have to make an urgent trip to Fukuoka.
If I take the KTX Friday morning, can I get on the ferry and be in Fukuoka Friday?
Can you recommend any decent moderately priced accomodation?
Thanks. |

I don't think the page has ferry info though (it might be in there but I'm not sure). I'm pretty sure you can take the KTX and make it in time but if you're coming from Seoul it might be better to take it the day or night before and sleep in a sauna or jjimjilbang if you're looking to save on accommodation.
Edit: I guess there is some ferry info. |

The two times I have gone to Fukuoka I left Daegu the night before, but that is because I caught the early Kobe ferry. But the second time we went I looked into it and found out we could have caught the first train out of Daegu and made it in time for the 9am ferry. Not sure about Seoul. If your taking the first one out, I would say night before.
Tell ya this much, the ferry is litterally a few blocks to the left when you come out of Pusan Station. When you come out go left right away and you can catch a taxi right there at the end of the station. Goes right down the street and takes you there. Good luck

Type in Fukuoka in Google and you'll get a lot of Visa run info with pictures. Also, go to Hostels.com and you will be able to book a hostel for about $30. I stayed there and it was the nicest hostel I've ever stayed in with a private room, with TV, hot tea, cookies, fridge and a very comfy yo. The place has free internet and the owners are super nice and it's right off the subway line. I think it's called Royla Ronshin or something like that. Good luck! |
