advice: when you go in don't be in a hurry, and insist on a spot check for allergic reactions

i decided to surprise my girlfriend by getting it done back in Canada once and my back reacted to the wax and was red and bumpy, blistery, real gross looking and painful for weeks! "oh that happens sometimes" i was told later "but it's rare". gee, thanks.
