I{m sure that this information is already on the website somewhere, but I cant seem to find it. I will be brinign my lap top to Korea, and Im wondering if I will need to modify anything for internet purposes or similar, or if, as I imagine, that my wireless will have no problems there?

also the same for my cell phone. I have a Motorola from mexico, which works in Europe and Canada, the info says that it is tri-banda and works mostly everywhere....... Can I just buy a chip like I do in other countries and be good to go? Or will I have to buy a new phone when I get there?

Any advice is greatly apreciated!

Info is in technology forum.

1. Laptop. Yes, if it switches to 220V; if not, you can buy a power supply and switch it out.

2. Tri-band. Yes. May need a sim card.

Geez, if you reply with info, then give him at least the right stuff.

Well at least you got 1 out of 3 right.

#1: Yes the info is all in the tech forum.
#2: No, if you have a laptop, it comes with a powerbrick that accepts 220V. All you need to buy is an power adaptor to the wall, which was 2 round prongs. No converter needed since the powerbrick takes Voltage ranges from 110V-220V.
#3: GSM Phones similar to N. America and Europe don't work here.
Korealand uses CDMA.
