So i'm looking for a job and i'm seeing a lot of places listing working hours as 9:30 - 6 or 6:30. Now i'm under the impression that the standard is 6 hours per day 5 days per week. So what's the deal? And what are your hours like?

Thanks,
Jared

2:30-8:30.

But I see that your location is in India. Are you planning on working illegally? If yes, you'll probably have to take what you can get.

Just updated my profile. I'm currently in Seoul with all the credentials to work legally. I've posted my resume / photo on a couple sites and have received close to 40 emails in 24 hours. So i've been browsing through them all and most seem to want a minimum of 8 hours and some seem to have me working all day. Is this something that is negotiable or should i not even bother if the hours are too long in the advertisement?

Edit:
For instance:

The teaching hours are from 10:20am till 1:30pm
for kindergarten with 1 hour lunch break and again
from 2pm or 3pm till 6pm or 7pm for mostly elementary
students with 10 minutes breaks from Monday to Friday.
