Has anybody taken the GRE General Exam in or near Korea? I'm looking to take before the summer, but it seems that they only offer it 2 times a year (June & October). Also finding information about it is so hard, especially from http://www.gre.org.

Yea, I took it. The writing part you can take pretty much any day, at the Fullbright building in Seoul. But, the written/analytical section is only given twice a year.

I took it years ago, but can't remember much about it. Maybe trying to block it out? Took it on the computer, which, in my opinion, isn't the best possible way to take it. Still, got it over with.

Check the web sites or get ahold of the people at the Bullbright facility.

Thanks. I guess it was right infront of me, I just didn't want to except that it's only twice a year.

Yea, unfortunately, it is. It really held up my applying to university/getting accepted/getting started process. But, I'm glad I waited as I am very happy about the program I am in.

I think they're changing the general GRE after the next fall. After the summer I'm assuming it will change in Korea as well.
