Anybody got any ideas for a good place for a weekend away near Seoul? Accessible by public transport, countryside-ish, not too many people, rentable accommodation at a reasonable price?
If anyone knows a specific place to stay that they can recommend, that'd be even better...

| You could take the subway out to Inchon, then hit Wolmido. From there, take the ferry over to YongChongDo/YongYuDo (now one island where the new airport is located). You can grab a bus from the ferry dock and head to the beach. I believe they still have some decent minbak and motels. Pretty quiet and great scenery. Very close to Seoul and easy to get to. Don't need a car while you're there, either. Nice get-a-way. Cheers. |
