worth it. I just bought mine and installed it (93mm). Wow. My CPU temp. was peaking around 61 and 62 under load. Now, with AS5 and the Zalman cooler http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2146650&CatId=493 , the pc is peaking at 44 and 45 degrees respectively.
Definitely worth it.
Sidenote (i had to get the 93mm fan and not the 120mm fan because the 120 was too big and would hit the side of my PSU). |

| I agree. I got one on my highly overclocked Graphics Card and it works like a charm. Mine is a little cheaper Copper-Aluminum model, though. |

see. I saw the one they had for the GPU. but.....my graphics card's threshold is at 90 degrees celcius. The hottest it has been was 60. So, I am good for now. |

I've been using Zalman since they first appeared. Great products. I still have their first cooler on my kid's P3 setup. The "Zalman Flower".
Sadly, I told my wife after buying that first cooler that we should invest in this little company, as they are doing something right here; making great coolers for good prices. We didn't, and now they are the name in coolers.

For the paltry sum of 40,000 I installed this little beauty a month ago.
The Zalman CNPS9500. It works like a charm. Idle temp is 34-35. Full load is around 52. Great product. The design is so complete. The fan blows over all those copper fins and straight out to the case outlet fan. Genius. |

Yeah, I saw that one, but, I wanted the fan closer to the CPU. Though, that it nice. |

Actually, that's exactly what I didn't want! When you have a fan blowing downwards onto the CPU you will have to get the vacuum and compressed air out all the time. The downwards fan will blow dust into the fins and clog them up. Unless the fins are well seperated they will clog and the air from the fan won't reach your CPU.
That's excatly what happened with my Intel stock cooler. My CPU temps were through the roof. So I got the above Zalman. |

| Regular maintenance is necessary anyhow. I take my system to pieces twice a year. |
