What the hell happened to this forum? It was always populated by nuts but I feel as if there has been an upsurge lately. Joo seems perfectly sane in comparison for chrissakes . I'm losing my bearings. |

It would be nice if all the "9/11 truth" debates could be concentrated on one thread, sort of like the evolution-creation debates have all streamlined into that one 313-pager they've got going.
And it's not because I think that the so-called conspiracy theories are entirely out to lunch. I do lean pretty heavily toward accepting the official version, but I'm willing to give the other side a fair hearing. It's just that there's a limited number of arguments you can make around the subject, and I don't really see the need for multiple threads.
And yeah, given the general aura of wackiness that accrues to that topic, fairly or unfairly, it probably isn't the best thing if newcomers get the impression that it's our No. 1 all-consuming priority around here. |

A few years ago it was discovered by several individuals who are on mental illness disability pensions, and have nothing else to do all day but "patrol" the forum.
Arguing with them will give you a good workout, but it won't get you anywhere. |

EDIT: I thought you all were talking about the Korean forum in general not just current events. Nevermind.

Really...
When I come here now, it's usually 5 threads about Ron Paul, 8 threads about 9/11 conspiracies, 5 threads about the state of fascism in the US, and 10 threads about global warming. The interesting threads are dropped in between the crap. |

An accurate representation of the Current-Events forum if ever there was one. |

If you want the same old crap, go watch your mainstream TV news. There are relatively few uncensored outlets to get alternative views. |

Haven't you guys ever wondered about this? Some people on this forum...it seems like they have nothing else to do all day except practically 'spam' the forum with the same opinions.
It seems like they don't work, are taken care of somewhere, and have lots and lots of free time to post, yet never stay away from the computer. And - have you ever noticed - they never express personal anecdotes, talk about personal experiences that relate to the particular topic thread, or ever talk about anything happening to them RT.
Prisons? Homes for 'special people' somewhere? Call center staff? |

Coming from the two most consistent, vainglorious offenders here. Keep it up boys! Back slaps all around.
Chuck Dmbfan in the mixer as well and you got the perfect blend of paranoid nodding dogs. |
