I'm making my visa run/holiday to the Philippines in a week. I'm dreading the potentially huge line to get into the door. Will there be millions of Philippinos there to get work visas? For those who have done it, how long did it take you to get in the door?

I did it there a couple years ago.

It took almost 2 hours to get to the window.

They told me it would take 4 days to process my visa.

I said that they should cancel my visa application because I was flying to HongKong that night and needed my passport. I showed my ticket and they processed my E2 while I waited. I was in at 9:30 and out before 12 with visa in hand.

Do a search on this site--it's been posted before...when we went, we were ushered to the front of the line because we were applying for a different kind of visa.

I did. The search engine sucks - most of the time I get a white screen, the rest of the time "Manila AND visa" yields close to a hundred results. Thanks for your assistance.
