I suddenly want to watch Life of Brian. Has anyone seen it here with Korean subtitles? I'll be watching it with someone with English certainly not good enough to understand this clip for example:

It's a long shot, but you could download the movie and then search for the Korean subtitles on the Korean net. You have to match the movie file exactly with the subtitle file though. My wife has been able to do it a few times for more well-known movies.....but, Life of Brian? Doubtful.

Or maybe order the Korean version DVD from Evans in COEX?

Would a Korean enjoy a movie so full of allegory, sarcasm, absurdity, historical-to-present references?

What timing. Only just yesterday I was discussing with some co-workers about the Japanese "leave-behinds" to Korea using an analogy in that movie. The scene where Reg says "All right, but apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, a fresh water system, and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?

Download this file:

Download Life of Brian.1979.XviD.AC3.CD1-ACE.txt

rename it with the same name as the video file and the file extension SMI like "nameofvideo.smi"

place the downloaded file in the same directory as the video file (sorry if this is pedantic). play it in GOMplayer. if it's mistimed, just google "smi files" and find a program that will let you jigger with the timing.

Thanks billybrobby.

For fixing the timing, you can do that in Gomplayer itself.

I use subtitle workshop. It's free unless you want to donate.]
