So, I injured my wrist (laugh it up, asswipes), and today I go to the hospital and they hook me up to all sorts of gadgets and gizmos, and this one deal has the suction cups hooked up to wires hooked up to this great big machine that shocks the hell out of you. It's fantastic.

So the guy starts the machine and at first it's just a sort of "plunk plunk plunk", then it gets more intense "plunkety plunkety plunkety" and then it's all like "fwabbafwabbafwabbafwabba" and it's uncomfortable as all get out and I'm like WHAT THE FUNK and my fingers start to curl inward involuntarily, all of them except (whadayaknow), the middle finger. So I'm lying here all prone and vulnerable and this torture device has just caused me to flip the bird at the good doctor, and hold that thought for like FIVE minutes. I'm thinking "Well, this is more or less how I feel about Koreans anyway, but DAMN..."

Suddenly it occurs to me....this device is the perfect metaphor for Korean society! Everyone hates everyone else, and they can't help but hate everyone because they're all such perfect c**nts, so they more or less involuntarily hate each other, give each other the bird in their minds, because there are simply no proper emotional substitutes for fear and loathing in this country.
