You ought to just go there and look for the swankiest place.
If the hotel looks new and polished on the outside, that tends to be a pretty accurate indication of the inside.
You can probably get the room for around 50,000 won/night. |

A great alternative would be to hit the "Lover's Lane" near the Sinchon Rotary, about a 2,000 won cab ride from the Hongdae campus. There are tons of nice, clean, swanky motels there that run anywhere from 50,000 to 150,000 a night.
My personal favorite is E-zen. Plasma TVs, internet, DVD players, whirpool baths with waterfall showerheads, great lighting...have had nothing but oohs and ahhs whenever myself and a guest have checked into the joint. 80,000 a night on weekends if I'm not mistaken.
From the Sinchon Rotary, take station exit #4 (McD's and BK) and head towards the Artreon Cinema (towards Ewha Uni). When you get to the Starlite Deli, turn left, then left again. It's the second joint on the left.
Smack it one time for me. |
