The exact location or the location of the city?
I'd have to guess at Sungnam city in the province of Kyung-gi. I'd call it Gyung-gi myself...but that's just me. |

| It's in Bundang, a wealthy suburb of Seoul. Do a search on Bundang, there are plenty of threads on it. |

Hello, Nelzer 13!
That's the name of the neighborhood.
That's a political division larger than a neighborhood.
That's the name of the city.
That's the name of the province.
The name of the city is usually written Seongnam.
It's on the southwest side of Seoul.
The Moran train stop is in Seongnam, and it can be reached either on the Bundang line or the Pink Line 8.
I believe that Sunae is a closer station for your part of town.
This station is 4 more stops on the Bundang line.
The name of that station has been changed since 2003.
If you are looking at an old map, look for Chorim.
According to Wikipedia, that is a quiet area of town which abound with nice restaurants.
If this is for a job search, I wish you the best of luck. |

There's a subway station called Jeongja... I'm assuming it's the same one you speak of. I've lived in this dong for about six months now.
Jeongja-dong is pretty happening. If it's on the west side of the river, it'll be nice. If your apartment is on that side, it'll be slammin' great. There are lots of upscale bars, restaurants and cafs. If it's on the east side of the river, be careful. I work on the west and live on the east - I live in the ghetto of Bundang. But there are tons of cheap bars and the bills for the apartments are cheap - but the apartments are pretty much trash.
But Partview is on the RIGHT SIDE OF THE RIVER. My boyfriend lives in those apartments and they are GORGEOUS. You're a lucky person if that's where you're gonna live.
Bundang has tons of waygooks and enough to do if you're just lookin' to chill out. It's a bit of a ways out of Seoul but close enough to make the weekend trip for partying, shopping and sightseeing. If you wanna party in Bundang, just take a cab ride (less than $5) to Seohyeon where there are some waygook hangouts, some restaurants, shopping spots etc. There's enough for outdoor recreation with a nice little river running through the city with walking and bike paths along side it.
I've lived in Bundang a year and half and it's been good to me.
Good luck! |
