Why, then, are you force-feeding us threads from another board? |

His term ended and he was not re-elected.

Not suprisingly Old Man Bush was a major player in the goings on "behind the scenes".
Something to do with convincing Iran to effectively DELAY the release of all US hostages in exchange for a sufficient amount of guns, cash, bombs & neat things like that
