Every email I've received since Nov. 5th is missing. GONE. WTF?!?!?

And, every time I try to log into Messenger, it never works on the first try. It usually takes about 3 - 5 tries; I keep getting these error messages, or it just hangs on "connecting..."

Is anyone else having weird MS problems lately?

hey there,

recently, have you installed any new type of programs or games? I am an avid user of Messenger and Hotmail; yet to have a problem and all of my emails are still there. Someone could have possibly gained access to your account and deleted everything. Have you been to a PC Bang lately? Possibly left your account active at work or something?

I remember about a year ago leaving my "Dave's" account active in a PC Bang and some idiot jumped on using my account for one or two posts.

CL - No, haven't installed anything new lately, I don't use PC rooms, and I always log off my computer when I leave work (it's in my room, on my desk - nobody else uses it, not even students). I was getting emails as recently as last week, but now the last 3 months worth are just gone.

I remember going to a PC room once a few years ago. I picked a random computer, went to the Hotmail page, and found one of my coworker's accounts was still open. I logged her out and made a point of telling her about it later that day. She was lucky I chose that particular PC.

I should add that the Messenger login problems only happen with my Mac (G4). My work computer (XP) logs on fine everytime.

The newest version of MSN for Macs is awful. It won't log me in properly, it won't let me block people, it disconnects me all the time, and it likes to not deliver messages and not tell me it hasn't delivered them. You should use Adium or something on the Mac.
