Not sure if you all know this (I bet it's been posted before), but if it hasn't, people living in NORTH Seoul must go to the Anguk immigration branch office now. You can no longer choose one. You must report to the correct one.
Once again -- if you're living in North Seoul, you have to go to Anguk. The rest of Seoul goes to Omokyo. You have to look at the immigration website map to see what office your Gu is served by.
Directions to Anguk office (very simple):
Go out Exit 6 from Anguk, and do a 180 degree turn. The tall building behind the police station is the KT Hub building. Go in there. It's on 2nd floor. |

When you mean north, do you mean like Eunpyong and Nowon-gus or do you mean Kangbuk
I know there are 3 offices in Seoul (to my knowledge);
1. Omokyo (the main branch)
2. Ankuk (near Kyongbukkung)
3. Yangjae
As far as I knew, most of the smaller branches only dealt with changing status or extending your visa (minus the Chinese, as all notices explicitly explained, who have their own office near the main office in Mokdong). |
