Don't know the uni, sorry.

Daejeon is great, in my opinion. Smaller city, but good nightlife and plenty of things to do. And there's a Costco.

Nonsan isn't THAT close to Daejeon, so as to refer to them together. It is the closest big city. I'm thinking about an hour away, and maybe more. It's a small town.

There is? No one can point out where the clubs are to me. Not even the Koreans.

Nonsan itself is not ultra-exciting. Nonsan has a cinema, a bowling alley, a sports stadium, a Pizza Hut, and several bars. Nonsan is "famous" for strawberries, and thus there is a yearly strawberry festival.

If you take the slow train, Nonsan is just 33 minutes from Seodaejeon Station, and 1.5 hours from Seoul by KTX.

I've worked there for 3.5 years, so feel free to ask me any questions.
