Hello,

My wife and I are looking at returning to Korea to teach again (we have run out of money! hahahaha) and are wondering about what it is like to live in the above places. Previously, we lived in Suwon, and did not enjoy it at all. It was very dirty, there wasn't much to do, and the people didn't seem to like white folk all that much. (I was spat at, cabbies refused to stop/took long way round, Korean men kept trying to get me to pimp my wife to them etc).

Anyway, if anybody could offer me a comparison to Suwon, that would be great, as Suwon is our frame of reference.

We are not interested in partying during the week, but don't mind meeting up with others for drinks and games on weekends. We are both interested in gyms, martial arts, and live music. We are both performers, so don't mind getting up on stage from time to time ourselves.
