| I took a ferry to Ullengdo, and from there on to Dokdo, with Adventure Korea. Ullengdo was absolutely amazing. The water can get *really* choppy out there in the 'East Sea" though, so if you easily get seasick, I would recommend some motion sickness pills. |

Lots of ferry info here:

If you tend to get motion sickness, I'd recommend a patch or something. The only time I've felt a little queasy was on the ferry to Ullengdo, but it might have had more to do with the movie they were showing..."Speed 2" AND all of the ajumas and halmonies who were calmly using the barf-bags! |

I have taken a ferry off the south coast quite a few times...
I love to do it...really peaceful and scenic way to get around and when you get to the other end it is always something different(besides all the seafood) |

Took a ferry to Japan from Pusan. |
was there a specific ferry service you used to get to China and Japan? |
