i asked my school about setting up internet (emailed as i wont be there for another 2 weeks) and they said it already is. i have to pay 50,000 for internet, electric in the elevator, and general cleaning of public spaces like the hallway. as i've never even heard of such a thing i was curious if this sounds normal.

thanks Smile

₩50000 = 41 or £27

That is cheap for all those utilities. Considering you are going to be paid anywhere between 2 and 2.5 million Won per month.

Don't lie -- you know they don't have elevator technology yet in West Verginny. Razz

That's cheap. My officetel (apartment) maintainance fees are well over 100,000 a month (but that includes electricity).
